Job summary

JPEX Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic Production Operator candidates to join a Shepparton-based manufacturing client. Initially a casual role, with full-time hours Monday to Friday, day and afternoon shifts available.

Responsibilities include operating machinery, assembling components, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean work area. Forklift operation up to 12 ton may be required; a forklift license is advantageous. Immediate start offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production or assembly role is preferred.
• Forklift license is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 15kg.

Job description

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Production Operator to join one of our Shepparton-based manufacturing clients. Starting as a casual, you will be working full time hours from Monday through Friday with both day shift and afternoon shift available.

Positions vary from operating machinery and equipment, forklift work, assembling components as well as general labouring duties.

The successful candidates don't necessarily need experience in a manufacturing environment, however a keen eye for detail, being able to work in a team environment and having a positive "can do" attitude is essential.

What you'll be doing

• Operating machinery and equipment to assemble products to specification
• Manually assembling components / products
• Perform quality checks at various stages of the production process
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
• Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
• Operating all sizes of forklifts up to 12 ton

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a production or assembly role will be highly regarded
• Forklift license with experience highly advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work well in a team
• Being able to stand for long periods of time and lift over 15kgs
