Job summary

ECOLAB is seeking a Production Operator at our Darra plant in Brisbane, responsible for packing and filling products safely and efficiently. Training will be provided to develop skills, with progression onto different tasks as you learn.

You will support packaging operations, handle raw materials and operate equipment, with opportunities to gain forklift qualification and advance within the Supply Chain division.

Qualifications

• Experience with packing and filling products
• Understanding of safety and hazard handling in chemical environments
• Willingness to obtain a Forklift license

• Carry out packing processes according to operating procedures to meet daily production plan
• Operate equipment and handle raw materials following OH&S instructions
• Transfer products across the facility using a forklift (when trained)
• Report operating or mechanical faults to management

About the role:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Production Operator to join our Supply Chain Division at our Darra plant. In this role you will be responsible for packing and filling our products, safely and efficiently. We will support you with training to enable you to develop with our team to increase responsibility and skills. Once you have learned the ropes, there will be an expectation that you will then progress onto different tasks.

Your responsibilities:

• Carry out the packing processes of Ecolab strictly according to established operating procedures to meet daily production plan e.g. machine operation, packaging and filling
• Operate equipment and handling raw materials as per Occupational Health and Safety instructions
• Transfer products across the facility using a forklift (once trained / qualified)
• Report any operating or mechanical faults or issues to management
