Job summary

Air Liquide Australia is seeking a safety-focused Production Operator to join our Elizabeth, SA facility, supporting production, quality analysis and supply chain operations.

You will manage high-pressure gas filling, test cylinders, and ensure compliance with SOPs while rotating across shifts.

Qualifications

• Forklift LF licence is essential.
• Foundational knowledge of process plant operations and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct Production & Automated Filling: operate automated filling systems and meet stock/distribution needs.
• Logistics & Forklift Operations: load/unload and sort cylinders in high-pressure zones following safety rules.
• Quality Assurance & Cylinder Testing: perform cylinder tests and gas purity analyses per SOPs.
• Safety Stewardship & Rotating Shifts: maintain strict HSEQ compliance and work across rotating shifts.

We are seeking a safety-focused, motivated Production Operator to join our team at the Elizabeth, SA facility. Reporting directly to the Facility Manager, you will play a crucial role in production, quality analysis, and supply chain operations, ensuring the safe and reliable delivery of essential gases to our customers.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

In this hands‑on operational role, you will be trained to manage high-pressure gas filling systems and quality testing.

Your mission is built on four core operational pillars:

• Direct Production & Automated Filling: Fulfill cylinder filling requirements utilizing computerized, automated systems to maintain stock levels. Safely manufacture dry ice to meet consumer demand and state-wide distribution schedules.
• Logistics & Forklift Operations: Safely load and unload cylinder delivery vehicles by hand and using a forklift, adhering strictly to Australian load restraint regulations. Organize, sort, and distribute empty and filled cylinders within the facility's high-pressure zones.
• Quality Assurance & Cylinder Testing: Conduct routine cylinder pressure and structural integrity testing in strict compliance with Australian standards. Perform analysis checks on gas purity and product mixtures as per standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintaining meticulous quality records.
• Safety Stewardship & Operational Agility: Maintain an absolute, zero-compromise commitment to safety (HSEQ) guidelines. Safely operate across our rotating shift schedule to support continuous supply chain flow.

• Licensing Requirements: A current Australian High Risk Work Licence for Forklifts (LF) is essential.
