Job summary

Holcim Australia and New Zealand is seeking a Batch Plant Operator to join our operations team in NSW. You will operate and maintain concrete batch plant equipment, ensuring safe, efficient production of high-quality concrete products.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Batch Plant Operator in concrete or similar industry preferred.
• Knowledge of operating and maintaining equipment such as concrete batching plants, mixers, loaders, and forklifts advantageous.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve equipment issues.

• Operate and maintain Concrete Batch Plant equipment and machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment, taking necessary precautions to prevent accidents or damage.
• Monitor and control the production process to meet quality and productivity targets.

• Follow batch instructions and accurately measure and mix raw materials to produce concrete products of the desired specifications.

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and housekeeping in the work area.
