Job summary

Horner Recruitment is seeking Production Machine Operators for ongoing opportunities across Melbourne's northern suburbs (Fawkner, Somerton, Preston). Roles suit candidates with production experience and a hands-on, safety-conscious approach.

Training is provided; shift options include Day, Afternoon, and Night. Successful candidates will operate and troubleshoot machinery, perform quality checks, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while complying with GMP and ISO9002 procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in production or machine operation.
• Understanding of GMP practices.
• Mechanically minded and proactive problem-solver.
• Reliable transport and weekday availability.
• Bonus points for buffer operating experience.
• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot production machinery
• Perform quality checks to maintain high standards
• Assist with packing and manual handling (up to 20kgs)
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace
• Follow safety and quality procedures (ISO9002 & GMP)
