Rheinmetall Defence Australia seeks a Production Engineer to define and document production processes for allocated areas such as Turret Assembly and Welding. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing methods and ensure SAP is up-to-date with BoM and routings.

The role requires Lean manufacturing knowledge, experience with ERP/MRP systems, and the ability to perform root cause analysis. Australian citizenship and security clearance eligibility are essential.

Qualificações

• Candidate has degree in mechanical/manufacturing/process engineering or related.
• Experience as a Production Engineer or similar role.
• Lean manufacturing techniques experience, preferably in automotive/heavy industry/high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (preferably SAP) to create PBOMs and routings.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and prevent recurrence.
• Eligible for Australian government security clearance (citizenship required).

Responsabilidades

• Define and document production processes for allocated areas (e.g., Turret Assembly, Welding).
• Collaborate with Configuration Management to maintain BoM, routings and material allocations.
• Apply lean manufacturing techniques to improve processes.
• Ensure SAP (MRP) is current with BoM and routings.
• Interface with Quality to include checks in production sequences.
• Interrogate engineering data via Teamcenter for material specifications and sequences.
