Ausdair Innovations Pty Ltd is seeking a Production Engineer to improve performance, reliability and efficiency of our dairy-processing and packaging plant. This role reports to the Production Manager and collaborates with production, quality and maintenance teams.

The candidate will review processes, develop equipment specifications, coordinate installation, analyze downtime, and ensure safety and environmental standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an appropriate engineering discipline.
• At least one year of relevant experience in production, manufacturing, plant or process engineering.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment, process improvement, preventive maintenance and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to interpret technical information, analyse production data and prepare engineering recommendations.
• Effective communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Review production processes, plant capacity, material flow, equipment performance and factory layouts.
• Develop specifications and recommendations for machinery, processing equipment, piping and plant modifications.
• Coordinate installation, commissioning, testing and modification of production equipment.
• Analyse equipment failures, downtime and production data and recommend engineering improvements.
• Develop plant-inspection, preventive-maintenance and equipment-testing standards.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and technical work with the Maintenance Technician and external contractors.
• Support manufacturing trials, process optimisation and the introduction of product or equipment changes.
• Maintain equipment specifications, engineering documentation, maintenance plans and technical reports.
• Ensure engineering work meets safety, quality, food-safety and environmental requirements.
• Work collaboratively to improve plant output, reliability, product consistency and operational efficiency.

Benefits

Salary: $82,000–$90,000 per annum plus superannuation
