Job summary

Anduril Industries in Sydney, NSW is seeking a Production Coordinator to organize and coordinate multiple aspects within production, ensuring timely delivery across sites and seamless handoffs between teams. In this role you will partner with the Production Supervisor and Lead Technicians to resolve bottlenecks, keep MRP/ERP data clean, and maintain documentation current in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience handling parts in a manufacturing, warehouse environment.
• 2+ years as a production coordinator, warehouse associate using digital planning systems.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Experience with MRP/ERP/MES (Netsuite, Oracle or equivalent systems) or other warehouse management and inventory control tooling.
• Strong computer skills, familiar with the full suite of Microsoft Office products.
• Excited by working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, track and move parts through production to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate movement of parts through receiving, stock rooms and work centres.
• Ensure parts are handled per Anduril specifications.
• Keep MRP/ERP data clean and accurate with planning, procurement, eng and warehouse.
• Assist in resolving incorrect system data causing reports to be inaccurate.
• Develop and maintain internal reports highlighting needs and constraints.
• Communicate blockers and root-causes of part shortages.
• Support logistics with innovative workflow staging.
• Support material certifications; prevent use of un-certified/MRB materials.
• Work with supervisors to ensure metric-driven actions are completed.
• Assist in return-to-stock and inventory purge actions.

About The Job

We are looking for a Production Coordinator to join our rapidly growing team in Sydney, NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing and coordinating multiple aspects within production. The Production Associate will work with the Production Supervisor and Lead Technicians to solve bottlenecks, ensure the priority of materials is clear, documentation is current, issues are communicated with multiple stakeholders and more! What You'll Do

• Monitor, track, and move parts as required through the production flow to ensure timely delivery to the next production location
• Coordinate physical movement of parts through receiving inspection, stock rooms, and production work centres
• Ensure parts are handled and protected properly and within Anduril specifications
• Work with the planning, procurement, engineering, warehouse and production teams to ensure MRP/ ERP data is and remains clean and accurate
• Assist with resolution of incorrect system data which is driving inaccurate reports
• Develop and maintain reports to highlight needs and constraints as required for internal use
• Communicate blockers and assist in root cause piece part shortages in the factory
• Support logistics process through innovative staging of workflow as required
• Support management of material certifications as required; prevent use of un-certified and MRB materials
• Work with production supervisors and managers to ensure all metrics driven action requirements are completed
• Support production and inventory personnel with 'return to stock' and inventory purge actions

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience handling parts in a manufacturing, warehouse environment
• 2+ years as a production coordinator, warehouse associate using digital planning systems
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
• Experience with MRP/ERP/MES (Netsuite, Oracle or equivalent systems) or other warehouse management and inventory control tooling.
• Strong computer skills, familiar with the full suite of Microsoft Office products
• Excited by working in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience

• Forklift experience and license
• Experience working in the defense/aerospace industry
• Familiarity with Inventory Management through lot/serial/batch tracking
• Experience packaging and handling hazardous shipments
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to adapt in fast-paced environments
• Ability to flex as work shifts can be subject to change depending on the business need
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and effectively
