Responsibilities

• Manufacture radiopharmaceuticals per procedures and quality standards.
• Assist reagent preparation, testing and lab activities.

About the Company
Our client is a leading Australian radiopharmaceutical manufacturer experiencing continued growth and expansion of its Brisbane operations. They are now seeking a Production Chemist to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, dedicated team working within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. As a Production Chemist, you will play an important role in the manufacture of radiopharmaceutical products, while also supporting laboratory activities, data analysis, reporting, and quality documentation.

Please note: Due to the nature of the manufacturing operation, you must be available to work early morning, day and night shifts on a rotating roster.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture radiopharmaceutical products in accordance with approved procedures and quality standards
• Assist with reagent preparation, testing and laboratory activities
• Ensure compliance with all relevant operational procedures and the company’s Quality Management System
• Assist with the preparation, review and ongoing development of controlled documentation
• Support data analysis, reporting and accurate record keeping
• Assist with labelling, packing, dispatch and logistics activities as required
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, safety and compliance within the production and laboratory environment
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure production activities are completed safely, accurately and on schedule

Skills & Experience

• A tertiary qualification in Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science or a related discipline
• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical, laboratory, manufacturing or GMP environment will be highly regarded
• Working knowledge of GMP guidelines and standards is advantageous
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
• Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A proactive attitude and strong work ethic
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small team
• Flexibility and availability to work early morning, day and night shifts on a rotating roster
