Job summary

APG Workforce partners with a multinational leader in the raw ingredients sector, supplying major brands such as Mars and Nestlé. The role is a permanent, full-time Production / Blending Operator based in Melbourne, Australia, with a 7:00am–3:00pm day shift and an hourly rate of AUD 31.77 plus 12% super.

You will blend and pack ingredients for pet foods, cheeses, ice cream, and anti-caking agents, loading 25 kg bags, and operating a forklift to move pallets.

Qualifications

• Experience blending, batching, or mixing in food manufacturing.
• Basic understanding of GMP and food safety standards.
• Ability to lift 25 kg bags repeatedly.
• LF forklift licence preferred.

Responsibilities

$31.77 per hour + 12% Super
Monday to Friday | 7:00am - 3:00pm

The Role

As a Production / Blending Operator, your duties will include:

• Blending powdered raw food and pet food ingredients
• Batching products according to recipe requirements
• Cutting and handling 25kg bags and loading ingredients into hoppers
• Packing blended products into smaller bags
• Operating a counterbalance forklift to move pallets and finished goods

To Be Successful, You Will Have

• Previous experience in blending, batching, or mixing within food manufacturing or a similar environment (preferred)
• Basic understanding of GMP and food safety standards (PPE provided)
• Physical capability to repeatedly lift 25kg bags throughout the shift
• LF Forklift Licence (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and random drug & alcohol testing
• Full working rights in Australia
• Availability to commence ASAP
