Harris Farm Markets is hiring a Production Assistant to prepare, pack, weigh and assemble fresh products for sale. You’ll work with care, maintain pace, and ensure orders go out on time. No experience needed, we’ll teach you everything, and you’ll bring reliability, attention to detail and pride in doing the job right.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills.
• Organised - you can run multiple admin tasks in parallel without dropping any.
• Attention to detail, right weight, right label, right pack.
• Food production, warehouse or retail experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Basic understanding of good manufacturing practices & food safety requirements
• Basic knife, hand or equivalent skills
• Weigh, pack, label and price product accurately to spec
• Pick stock to store allocation
• Keep the production line moving, steady pace, clean workstation, no bottlenecks
• Maintain cold chain, keep product at the right temperature every step of the way
• Manage raw material stock on hand effectivelySpot and pull out anything that's not up to standard — better a reject than a complaint
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and safety procedures

You’ll prepare, pack, weigh and assemble fresh products for sale. You’ll handle the product with care, keep the pace up, and get orders out the door on time. No experience needed, we’ll teach you everything. What you bring is reliability, attention to detail, and pride in doing the job right. It’s honest work with good people.
