The role requires accuracy, manual dexterity, and the ability to work both independently and with others. Rights to live and work in Australia is required; training will be provided and on-the-job learning supported by the team

Responsibilities

• Assemble products, including preparation, accurate component handling, and completion
• Make and prepare assembly kits to job requirements and production schedules
• Test, check, and verify products against specification before they progress
• Label, package and prepare products for dispatch or internal transfer
• Carry out warehouse duties as operations require
• Report non-conformance or quality issues promptly to the Team Leader or Supervisor
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities
• Support other areas of the business when needed
• Once established, help train and onboard new team members

GLYDE Architectural Acoustic Systems, part of Aluminium Industries of Australia (Ai), is looking for a casual Production Team Member to join us in Dandenong South.

As part of a close production team, in this role you will complete assembly, kitting, and warehouse tasks while you accurately build and prepare components to meet production schedules and quality standards. This includes, checking and verifying products before dispatch, highlighting any quality issues, and pitching in wherever the team needs support.

What you’ll do

Assemble products, including preparation, accurate component handling, and completion

Make and prepare assembly kits to job requirements and production schedules

Test, check, and verify products against specification before they progress

Label, package and prepare products for dispatch or internal transfer

Carry out warehouse duties as operations require
