The Boeing Defence Australia Graduate Program in January 2027 invites graduates to join as Graduate Product Security Engineers. This permanent, full-time program provides a solid career foundation from day one across Brisbane engineering units.

You'll contribute to product security across the project lifecycle, perform threat assessments, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in an inclusive environment designed to foster growth and hands-on learning during the 24-month program.

The Opportunity

We are a seeking talented Graduate Product Security Engineers to join the Boeing Defence Australia Graduate Program in January 2027. This program offers graduates a permanent full-time position, providing a solid career foundation from day one.

Graduate opportunities are available in Brisbane across a range of engineering business units at Boeing which include:

• E-7A Wedgetail - The centrepiece of Australia's national air defence capability, incorporating powerful airborne surveillance, communications and battle management capability.


• MQ-28 Ghost Bat - Development and integration of mission systems for uncrewed teaming aircraft designed to be a force multiplier in support of advanced multi-mission air combat operations.


• Sustainment Operations - Maintenance, repair, overhaul and upgrades of military aircraft including F/A-18F Super Hornets, CH-47F Chinooks and P-8A Poseidons, as well as training design and delivery.


• Joint Systems - Design, development and sustainment of defence communications systems and networks.

As a Graduate Product Security Engineer you will:

• Develop and implement product security and resiliency across the entire project lifecycle (requirements, design, build, test, production, operations and support).


• Conduct security authorization and assessment activities for products and systems.


• Create and maintain security policies, audits, and assessments.


• Perform threat assessments.


• Analyze and determine the risk associated with potential vulnerabilities, providing recommendations for mitigation.


• Communicate and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in a conscientious and inclusive way.

Education

Applicants must hold a tertiary degree qualification in engineering, computer science or information technology (or have an anticipated graduation date before January 2027).
