Job summary

Anduril Industries in Sydney, Australia, seeks a Product Quality Engineer to define and execute processes ensuring high quality, reliable products. You will collaborate across Manufacturing, Engineering and Supply Chain to mitigate risks and drive quality coverage from design to production.

The role focuses on Dive-XL, requiring expertise in aerospace/defense quality systems, metrology, and continuous improvement. Strong ownership and NV2 clearance are preferred for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a similar technical field.
• Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality in aerospace/defense hardware.
• Knowledge of PCBA, harnessing, avionics, systems integration, composites, propulsion, welding.
• Experience driving quality requirements to test and measurement system development and optimization.
• Knowledge of FMEA, APQP, PPAP elements including MSA and GD&T.
• Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical manufacturing processes.
• Strong ownership to drive projects from start to finish.
• Analytical skills for data mining and statistics (MatLab, JMP, Minitab).
• Ability to obtain and maintain an NV2 Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work in a modern manufacturing environment supporting incoming inspection, in-process inspection and end of line inspection.
• Lead Material review board processes to ensure timely resolution of non-conformances.
• Lead supplier quality assurance activities, including supplier development and PPAP/FAI.
• Propose, develop and implement QA policies to support AS9100/ISO9001 certification.
• Support ongoing development of manufacturing work instructions.
• Review and propose continuous improvement projects for productivity and quality.
• Support calibration of test equipment, jigs and fixtures.
• Support internal and external audits on processes and procedures.
