About the role

We're rethinking how small businesses manage their banking and accounting, and we're looking for a Product Designer who thrives on bringing structure, clarity and simplicity to complex systems. You'll collaborate with engineers, data scientists, researchers, designers and product managers to craft experiences that feel intuitive, human-centred, and distinctly MYOB. You'll also explore where emerging AI capabilities and intelligent automation can remove friction and reduce effort for customers. By combining thoughtful design craft with curiosity for new technologies, you'll help shape a new generation of banking experiences that feel effortless, trustworthy and smart.

The skills you’ll need

• Solid experience in UX or Product Design, shipping modern digital products and working with AI-powered or automated experiences.
• Curiosity about emerging technologies, automation, and AI‑enhanced user experiences, and how they can elevate customer outcomes.
• Hands‑on experience engaging with customers through research, experiments or usability testing to validate ideas and shape product direction.
• Ability to translate complex customer and technical problems into simple, elegant solutions.
• Strong interaction design skills and confidence prototyping with tools like Figma and AI‑assisted design tools.
• Comfort working in cross‑functional environments and collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and data partners.
• Strong storytelling and communication skills, especially when explaining design rationale and shaping shared understanding.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to manage your own work, stay organised, and contribute positively to team culture.
