Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in procurement, supply chain, commerce, law or business administration.
  • Experience or knowledge of government procurement and policies.
  • Framework management skills to improve processes and help others understand key requirements.
  • Policy and planning skills to turn rules into clear actions.
  • Problem-solving, communication and leadership to guide others and handle sensitive issues.

Responsibilities

  • Lead services that help procurement staff work effectively.
  • Manage processes, resources, learning programs and business risks.
  • Ensure staff have resources, tools and information to do their work well.
  • Develop and deliver learning and training programs to build procurement skills.
  • Coordinate information sessions, training and events across the department.
  • Manage information platforms, digital tools and communication channels supporting branch work.
