THE ROLE
The Procurement Data & Information Officer makes an important contribution to the monitoring and enhancement of the department's procurement, service funding and grants activity. The position is responsible for supporting the department's goods and services procurement governance framework by:
You will be required to develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of the department's procurement policies and procedures to provide guidance and advice to team members and departmental staff.
The Procurement Data & Information Officer also supports diverse projects to strengthen operations of the team and the management of the procurement, grants and funding frameworks and practice within the department.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa. Work eligibility will be checked as part of the recruitment process.
Preferred candidates will be required to complete pre-employment screening, including a national police check and misconduct screening.
