Job summary

The Bureau of Meteorology is seeking a Procurement Support Services Specialist to enable effective planning, coordination and delivery of procurement and commercial activities across the organisation.

You will work with business areas, procurement specialists and stakeholders to support the procurement lifecycle, ensure policy compliance and timely acquisition of goods and services, while contributing to continuous improvement in procurement practices and organisational outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver procurement and commercial activities across the organisation.
• Support procurement lifecycle, ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and facilitate timely acquisition of goods and services.
• Assist contract administration, supplier engagement and commercial reporting while promoting continuous improvement in procurement practices.
