NSW Treasury seeks a Category Officer to provide specialist procurement advice and support for category management across whole-of-government arrangements. You will contribute to planning, sourcing, contract management, and stakeholder coordination to deliver effective procurement outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting procurement, category management and contract management.
• Relevant qualifications and/or experience in procurement or commercial environments.
• Good analytical skills with supplier/spend data using Excel and data tools.
• Understanding of procurement principles including value for money and risk.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication with internal teams and agencies.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to coordinate priorities and actions.
• Proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to develop broader capability.

Responsabilités

• Support category planning, sourcing and contract management activities.
• Undertake market and supplier research and prepare reports.
• Coordinate input from stakeholders and monitor supplier and contract performance.
• Support procurement projects and category initiatives across government arrangements.
• Collaborate with NSW Government agencies and service providers to achieve outcomes.
