Job summary
AngloGold Ashanti is seeking Process Technicians for our Tropicana Gold Mine to operate fixed plant circuits, including Crushing, Grinding, and CIL, while ensuring safe and reliable production. The role follows an 8/6 FIFO roster with flights provided to site from Perth and Kalgoorlie.
You will monitor equipment performance, support maintenance, and collaborate with Operations and Maintenance teams to reduce downtime and improve plant availability.
Qualifications
- Experience in operating gold processing fixed plant
- Experience with crushing, screening, conveying, grinding, CIL, elution, and tailings storage
- Exposure to process control and SCADA systems
- ERP experience, preferably SAP
- MS Office proficiency
- Operate Front-End and Skid Steer Loaders
- Operate small mobile equipment
- Proactive safety and continuous improvement mindset
Responsibilities
- Operate processing circuits including Crushing, Grinding, CIL, Elution, Tailings and Control Room sections of the Processing Plant
- Monitor plant performance including conveyors, crushers and screens
- Support maintenance activities across the fine crushing plant circuit
- Work with Operations and Maintenance teams to minimise downtime
- Assist in improving plant reliability and equipment availability
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and site standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the plant
