Job summary

Hume Doors & Timber is seeking a Process Worker for our Coolum Branch on days, Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 2.30pm. Join a team-focused environment building and cutting timber products with power tools and accurate measurements.

You will read cutting requirements, meet deadlines, and contribute to a safe, high-quality workplace. A forklift licence is advantageous but not essential; good communication and willingness to learn are important.

• Hands-on experience with power tools.
• Ability to read and understand measurements and cutting requirements.
• Able to meet deadlines and work efficiently without supervision when required.
• Team player with a high regard for OH&S and work quality.
• Willingness to learn and good written/verbal communication.
• Forklift licence advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a Process Worker on day shift, Monday to Friday, 6.30am–2.30pm, at Coolum Branch.
• Work with power tools on processing tasks and meet cutting requirements.
• Read and apply measurements and material cutting specifications.
• Work effectively in a team or independently to meet deadlines.
• Maintain OH&S standards and product quality; communicate clearly.

A Process Worker role has become available within our Coolum Branch to work on our day shift Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 2.30pm.

The successful applicantneedsthe following skills and experience:

You will be working as part of a team, but must be able to work efficiently without supervision when required
