Job summary

EnerMech is seeking experienced Process Technicians for offshore projects across Australia. These casual roles involve pipeline flushing, cleaning and pressure testing, with flexible opportunities to join our pool for future offshore assignments.

As a Process Technician, you will operate pumping equipment, support commissioning and process operations, and perform routine inspections in remote offshore environments.

Qualifications

• Offshore oil and gas experience is required or highly preferred.
• Current BOSIET or FOET certification with CA-EBS is required.
• Willingness to complete background checks including National Police Clearance.
• Experience operating triplex pumps and hydrotesting equipment is beneficial.
• Experience in Bass Strait or similar offshore regions is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate triplex pumps and DHDA pumps during flushing, cleaning and pressure testing.
• Support commissioning and process operations in offshore environments.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and identify issues.
• Assist with rig-up, testing, maintenance and safe operation activities.
• Work within permit-to-work systems, procedures and client HSE requirements.

EnerMech is seeking experienced Process Technicians for upcoming offshore projects across Australia’s offshore oil and gas sector. These casual positions offer the opportunity to work on challenging offshore operations while supporting critical pipeline commissioning, flushing, cleaning and pressure testing activities.

With multiple project scopes scheduled, successful candidates will have the opportunity to join our casual workforce pool for future offshore assignments.

About the Role

As a Process Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Operating and monitoring triplex pumps and/or DHDA pumps during pipeline flushing, cleaning and pressure testing operations.

• Supporting commissioning and process operations in offshore environments.

• Conducting routine equipment inspections and identifying operational issues.

• Assisting with equipment rig-up, testing, maintenance and safe operation activities.

• Working in accordance with permit-to-work systems, procedures, risk assessments and client HSE requirements.

• Maintaining a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence at all times.

About You

To be considered, you will ideally have:

• Previous offshore oil and gas experience.

• Current BOSIET or FOET certification with CA-EBS.

• Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.

• Ability to work effectively in remote offshore environments.

• Willingness to complete pre-employment and project-specific background checks, including a National Police Clearance.

• Experience operating triplex pumps and hydrotesting equipment.

• Previous experience working in the Bass Strait.

• Agree to complete the required employment background checks such as National Police Clearance

Desirable:

• MSIC Card.

• OEUK Medical Certificate.
