Ulan Surface Operations Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Process Manager to oversee coal processing and water management from ROM to train loading, export logistics, and RO plant operations. You will lead a team of Superintendents, Engineers, Supervisors and Operators, driving safety and performance across complex pumping and storage systems.

The ideal candidate will have mechanical, chemical or process engineering qualifications with coal mining experience and a proven track record of leading

• Experience leading teams in high-volume processing environments.

The Opportunity

Ulan Surface Operations Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Process Manager. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee all coal processing and water management operations including but not limited to Run-of-Mine (ROM) from receival through to train loading, export logistics, operation of reverse osmosis plants, complex pumping infrastructure and storage dams.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Provide leadership and direction to a team of Superintendents, Engineers, Supervisors and Operator/Maintainers.
• Developing and mentoring co-workers.
• Maintain a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values.
• Provide technical guidance to maintenance activities to provide a high standard.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
• Hold relevant qualifications (mechanical, chemical or process engineering) working in the minerals process industry.
• Previous experience in the coal mining industry.
• Proven experience leading teams through high volume processing activities.
• Demonstrated commitment to a high performing safety culture.
