Job summary

Intermountain Health invites qualified OB/GYN physicians to join as PRN hospitalists and clinic staff at sites including Brighton, Commerce City and Thornton. You’ll cover OB/GYN hospitalist shifts at Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton, with a level II NICU and 24/7 anesthesia support, alongside clinic duties in nearby clinics.

The role requires an MD/DO with ACGME residency in OBGYN, board certification or eligibility, CO license or ability to obtain, and DEA/BLS credentials.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• ACGME accredited residency training in OBGYN
• Board certification or eligibility in OBGYN
• Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Federal DEA Registration
• BLS certification
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN hospitalist and clinic care on an as-needed basis
• Work in three OB/GYN clinics: Brighton, Commerce City, Thornton
• OB/GYN Hospitalist shifts at Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton with NICU
• MFM onsite in Brighton two days per week and 24/7 consult availability
• Clinic shifts are 8 hours, pay $1,400 per shift
• Hospitalist shifts are 12 hours, pay $1,876 per shift
• Malpractice coverage paid 100% by Intermountain Health

About This Role

As a PRN physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology with Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

• On an as-needed basis, you will provide care through restricted OB/GYN hospitalist shifts and clinic shifts.
• You'll provide care in three of our OB/GYN clinics, located in Brighton, Commerce City, and Thornton, Colorado.
• OB/GYN Hospitalist shifts will be at Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton, Colorado. Platte Valley is home to a level II NICU and thriving Labor & Delivery Unit. We are a designated Baby-Friendly Hospital, that has been ranked highly in Women's Choice Awards Best Hospitals for Obstetrics and Emergency Care. Anesthesia is available 24/7 in house with backup.
• MFM is onsite in Brighton two days per week and is available 24/7 for consult.
• Clinic shifts are generally 8-hours in length, at a pay rate of $1,400.00.
• OB/GYN Hospitalist shifts are 12-hours in length at a pay rate of $1,876.00. If desired, they can be stacked and taken in 24-hour increments.
• Your malpractice coverage will be paid 100% by Intermountain Health.
