Job summary

headspace Mount Druitt, operated by Uniting, invites Private Practitioners to deliver Medicare-funded mental health services to youth aged 12–25 in a flexible private practice setting. The role offers autonomy within a supportive multidisciplinary team, with 1–5 days per week and full administrative support.

Practitioners will assess, plan treatment and provide psychological interventions, while benefiting from 100% of billings, free consultation room, and ongoing Medicare referrals.

Qualifications

• Must hold full AHPRA registration as a clinical or general psychologist, or be a Mental Health Accredited Social Worker (AASW) or OTA with Better Access endorsement.
• Eligibility to provide Medicare services is required.
• Experience delivering psychological/therapeutic interventions is essential.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and positive client outcomes.
• Flexible and solutions-focused approach to care and scheduling.
• ABN or willingness to obtain one, with appropriate professional insurance.
• Relevant criminal history checks are required.

Responsibilities

headspace Mount Druitt is seeking motivated Private Practitioners to provide high-quality, evidence-based Medicare-funded clinical services to young people aged 12–25.

This flexible opportunity can be tailored to your availability, from 1 to 5 days per week. You’ll work autonomously while being part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, providing assessment, treatment planning and psychological interventions

headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation. Its mission is to deliver improvements in the mental health, social well-being and economic participation of young Australians aged 12-25 years. Essential Criteria

You will have:
