Job summary

Central West Allied Health in Dubbo is seeking an AHPRA-registered physiotherapist for a private practice role. You’ll manage a caseload of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and sporting injuries, with opportunities for neurological rehab and chronic pain work.

The role includes 40-hour weeks, flexible arrangements for work-life balance, mentoring with senior clinicians and a PD allowance of $1,000/year per clinician. Relocation grants may be available on eligibility.

Qualifications

• An AHPRA-registered Physiotherapist with ideally 1–2 years of private practice experience.
• Passionate, motivated, and eager to keep learning.
• Strong communicator with excellent rapport-building skills.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Organised with good time management skills.
• Current professional indemnity/public liability insurance.
• Driving License & own private motor vehicle.
• Australian residency or working rights. We are not seeking to sponsor a current overseas applicant.

Responsibilities

• Predominantly musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and sporting injuries.
• Some neurological rehabilitation.
• Chronic pain treatment.
• Falls prevention and preventative health programs.
• Group rehabilitation and exercise classes.
• Pre-employment medical assessments.
• Liaising with GPs, specialists, imaging centers, employers, and insurers.
