eNL Legal Recruitment is working with a leading regional law firm to recruit a Private Client Solicitor for its Norfolk team. The role covers wills, trusts, LPAs, and estate administration within a high-quality private client practice.

The successful candidate will manage their own varied caseload, collaborate with senior private client specialists, and benefit from a fast-paced, career‑progressing environment with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Around 3 years' PQE, or qualified by experience welcome.
• Solid experience in trust administration and trust taxation.
• Private client background with experience across wills, estates, and lifetime planning.
• STEP qualification or ongoing progress towards it would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Handle a varied caseload of Private Client matters including Wills, Trusts and LPAs.
• Assist with administration of Estates and Trusts.
• Support inheritance tax planning and related areas.

THE ROLE:

You will take responsibility for a varied caseload, working closely with experienced private client specialists.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Handling a varied caseload of Private Client matters including preparing and advising on Wills, Trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Dealing with the administration of Estates and Trusts.
• Assisting clients with Inheritance Tax planning and related matters.
• Developing long-term relationships with clients, intermediaries and professional contacts.
• Take ownership of your workload while maintaining high standards of service and attention to detail.
• Identify and contribute to business development and networking opportunities.
• Work effectively with colleagues across the wider firm.
• Keep up to date with developments in Private Client law and continue to build your professional expertise.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative and client-centred team environment.

THE CANDIDATE:

The firm is looking for an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive with a strong interest in private client work.

You should ideally have:

• Around 3 years' PQE, although applications from more experienced candidates and those who are qualified by experience are also welcomed.
• Solid experience in trust administration and trust taxation
• A private client background with experience involving all aspects of private client work
• The confidence and ability to manage your own caseload
• Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail
• Strong client care skills, particularly when working with high-net-worth individuals
• It would also be beneficial if you were STEP qualified or working towards it
