Job summary

GEO Healthcare Plus is seeking an Associate Health Services Manager to support the Health Services Manager in delivering primary health care to men in Ravenhall Prison. The role coordinates nursing staff, supports reporting on KPIs, and performs RN duties when required.

Qualifications

• Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum three years of postgraduate clinical experience as a registered nurse.
• Ability to work without direct, immediate supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate patient care.
• Demonstrated competence in clinical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to the professional practice within the health facility.
• Demonstrated competence in written and verbal communication skills.
• Interpersonal and negotiation skills that ensure positive relationships with staff, clients and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated basic level of computer literacy.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity and Workplace Health and Safety principles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing staff at designated location(s).
• Assist HSM with reporting on Key Performance Measures (KPMs) and client/GEO Healthcare reporting.
• Deliver health services as a Registered Nurse within a prison setting.
• Perform duties in accordance with GEO Healthcare Plus values.
• Undertake nursing duties when not assisting the HSM.
