SLR Consulting Australia seeks a Principal Soil Scientist to lead soil science projects across the Soils, Geochemistry, Toxicology & Risk practice. You will play a key role in delivering projects nationwide, mentoring colleagues and shaping rehabilitation and land management strategies.

Formación

• Professional qualification in environmental science, engineering or related degree.
• 10–15+ years of professional experience, preferably in consulting.
• Expertise in soil surveys, sampling, mapping and classification (ASC).
• Ability to interpret soil properties: texture, pH, salinity, nutrients, organic matter.
• Knowledge of Australian environmental legislation and land management guidelines.
• Ability to assess mining, renewable energy, roads and rail impacts on soils and mitigation.

• Support delivery of projects across Soils, Geochemistry, Toxicology & Risk group.
• Deliver high-quality reports and technical reviews within your specialist area.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary Australian team across 25 disciplines.
• Contribute to client relationships and project win work.
