Kingston Human Capital is seeking an experienced Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner for a State Government client in Brisbane. The six-month contractor/temporary role offers potential for permanency, with both hourly and salaried options.

You will deliver financial insights, partner with stakeholders, and support budgeting, forecasting and reporting. The role emphasises Power BI analytics, financial clarity, and professional development within a collaborative finance team.

Qualifikationen

Our State Government client is seeking an experienced Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner to join a small, high-performing and supportive finance team as a Principal Management Accountant.

ASAP start for a six-month opportunity that offers the flexibility to work as either a contractor or a temporary employee directly on the department's payroll, with the opportunity to apply for the permanent position.

Working closely with stakeholders across various portfolios, you'll provide financial insights, analysis and practical advice to support informed decision-making.

You'll join a collaborative team with approachable, supportive leadership and a positive team where people genuinely enjoy working together.

Key Contributions

• Partner with stakeholders to provide meaningful financial advice and insights

To be successful, you will have

• Strong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting experience

• Project accounting experience, particularly IT projects (beneficial)
• Power BI (beneficial) Power BI training can be provided!
• Confidence providing financial advice, negotiating and making sound decisions
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and initiative
