Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Science, Environmental Science, Environmental Management or related field.
• 10+ years' ecological experience in consultancy, government or industry.
• Proven ability to win, lead and manage projects.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks (NSW).
• Experience designing and implementing flora/fauna field surveys and monitoring.
• Strong report writing skills and ability to publish high‑quality material.
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary projects and teams.
• Botanical knowledge is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality reports and project deliverables.
• Lead complex ecological projects across sectors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Design and implement field survey programs for ecological monitoring and impact assessments.
• Oversee resourcing and ensure project teams are set up for success.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to business development.
