Job summary

Water Corporation is seeking a senior Principal Product Owner – Cyber Security to lead the vision, roadmap, and lifecycle management of our cyber security platforms and services. You will drive the evolution of our security ecosystem in collaboration with security specialists, technology teams, stakeholders, and vendors.

You will balance risk management with innovation, champion Agile and DevOps practices, and provide guidance and coaching to teams while aligning security with business strategy.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
• Significant experience managing enterprise-scale cyber security platforms and services
• Demonstrated experience defining and maintaining product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and lifecycle plans
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across business and technology functions
• Strong experience delivering complex technology initiatives within large organisational environments

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the strategic vision, roadmap, and lifecycle plans for key cyber security platforms and services.
• Ensure cyber security products and capabilities align with business objectives, enterprise architecture, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify emerging cyber threats, industry trends, and technology opportunities to strengthen organisational resilience.
• Act as the Product Owner for cyber security platforms, ensuring successful delivery of new capabilities and continual service improvements.
• Oversee platform upgrades, integrations, enhancements, and retirement activities.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure security solutions are robust, scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
