Job summary

CyberCX Pty Ltd in Australia is seeking a Principal Consultant to design and implement advanced security engineering solutions for enterprise‑sized customers. This client‑facing role requires leading engagements, workshops, and close collaboration with sales to identify opportunities, with eligibility for NV1 clearance or higher.

The role emphasizes architecture, integration of security, network and mobility solutions, and strong stakeholder engagement with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in professional services, cyber security and/or technology industry, with experience in security integration and engineering.
• Experience in architecture, design, implementation and integration of security, network and mobility solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with senior leaders and internal teams.
• Australian citizenship.

Principal Consultant - Security Engineering Solutions

Lead, design and implement security engineering solutions for Australia's leading companies.

This technical client‑facing role is responsible for designing and implementing complex Security Engineering Solutions for leading enterprise‑sized customers. Candidates with previous experience designing large complex SIEM, VMS, and EDR projects will be favoured.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead engagements for complex Security Engineering engagements.
• Lead client workshops for Security Assessment, EDR, VMS Architecture Reviews, and make recommendations for secure enterprise solutions.
• Work closely with the Customer Sales team to uncover and develop opportunities within customers, understanding the nature of their business problems, drivers, and how the solutions fit with their objectives.

Core Requisites:

• Experience in architecture, design, implementation and integration of security, network and mobility solutions.
• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in professional services, cyber security and/or technology industry, with experience in security integration and engineering.
• Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility with senior leaders and internal working teams.
• Australian Citizen.

You will have a solid technical background in security engineering and project solutions, and be comfortable liaising with both business and technical stakeholders.
