Job summary

Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) invites applications for a full-time teaching role at Our Lady of Fatima Primary School in Acacia Ridge. The position supports delivering curriculum aligned with the Australian Curriculum and Catholic values within a caring learning environment.

You will collaborate with the leadership team to implement quality programs, assess student progress, and contribute to a positive school culture while supporting students’ spiritual and moral development.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
• Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers.

Responsibilities

• Creating a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is learner-centred, supportive, cooperative, and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices.
• Collaboratively developing and implementing quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy; evaluating their effectiveness; assessing and reporting student progress and learning outcomes; and reporting these to students, parents and the community.
• Working collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers and other staff members in contributing to the professional life of the school and fostering a positive school culture.
• Proactively engaging with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Establishing positive relationships in the pastoral care of students and supporting their spiritual and moral development.
• Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.

• Salary: $84,078 - $121,093 per annum + PLL Allowance + 12.75% super (commensurate with experience)

In this position you will be responsible for:

• A passion to support students' spiritual and moral development
• For this position you are required to be Catholic.
