Job summary

Brisbane Catholic Education invites applications for the role of Support Teacher: Engagement & Wellbeing at Stella Maris Primary School, Maroochydore. You will lead efforts to engage students, foster wellbeing, and support inclusive practices across Prep to Year 6.

Working with the Leadership Team and classroom teachers, you will implement MTSS with PB4L, promote positive behavior, and strengthen relationships with students, families, and staff in a faith-based learning community.

• Creating a supportive, learner-focused classroom aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
• Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to enrich learning experiences and achieve the best educational outcomes for students.
• A passion to support students' spiritual and moral development.
• Catholic identity is a requirement for this position.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engagement and wellbeing of all students using MTSS with PB4L framework.
• Collaborate with Leadership Team, support staff, and teachers to implement inclusive practices.
• Promote positive relationships and academic growth through evidence-based strategies.
