Job summary

Immanuel Primary School in Adelaide, SA seeks a Primary Classroom Teacher for 2027 in a full-time 1.0 FTE position. You will teach within the Australian Curriculum and the IB Primary Years Programme, planning student-centered learning that is engaging, evidence-based, and inclusive.

You will foster a positive, inclusive classroom, collaborate with colleagues, school leaders and families to meet student needs, and support our Christian ethos. Applications close 12 October at 4pm.

Primary Classroom Teacher

This is a full-time 1.0 FTE position, commencing in January 2027.

The successful applicant will work collaboratively with colleagues to provide an engaging and supportive learning environment for students, aligned with the Christian values and ethos of our school.

As a Primary Classroom Teacher, you will:

Teach within the framework of the Australian Curriculum and the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program.

Plan and implement student-centered learning that is evidence-based, engaging, and inclusive.

Effectively manage the classroom to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Collaborate with colleagues, school leaders, and parents to support student needs and aspirations.

We are looking for someone with:

Suitable relevant teaching qualifications.

A strong understanding and experience in the Australian Curriculum and the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program Framework.

A passion and commitment to innovative student-centered learning.

Strengths in communication, collaboration, and classroom management.

A demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
