Job summary

Two Tutors is seeking casual tutors on the Sunshine Coast to work around university study. You do not need an Education degree or teaching experience to apply. Tutors work one-on-one in students' homes with teaching resources supplied and start as early as October 6th.

The role is flexible around after-school hours for students and graduates. We welcome diverse applicants, including recent high school graduates with a driver's licence.

You do not need to be studying Education or have any experience teaching/tutoring to apply.

Since forming in January 2021, the Two Tutors team has grown from 2 to many! In January 2026, we expanded to the Sunshine Coast and with a growing wait list of students, we're once again looking to expand our team.

We're a team of life-long learners, and many of us are current university/TAFE students. Two Tutors has a focus on the learning journey, rather than the A+ result. We encourage anyone with a love of learning to apply, whether you're a humanities-nerd, STEM lover, or anywhere in between.

Recent high school graduates and current Grade 12s with a driver's licence are encouraged to apply!

The details:

• Casual role offering $33 - $40 per hour + superannuation (tutors are all paid the same, regardless of age, as part of our Adult Work = Adult Pay policy)


• A 10% pay rise after 4 full terms of tutoring


• Working one-on-one with students in their own homes


• Commencing as early as October 6th


• Teaching resources provided


• This role would be ideal for a university student or recent high school graduate seeking flexible, casual work

What we're looking for:

• Availability after school on at least two days (weekend availability is also great, but not essential)


• A driver's licence, your own reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel up to 20 mins


• Eligibility for a Bluecard (Working with Children check)


• A keen interest in learning & teaching


• A commitment to your own studies (past or present)
