Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be registered or eligible for registration in Queensland as a teacher.
• Appropriate tertiary degree(s) and teaching qualifications.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of Child Safe legislation and cultural safety.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively plan and deliver relevant teaching, learning and assessment programs.
• Work with colleagues in departmental year-level teams to ensure quality and accountability for programs.
• Differentiate learning experiences and assessments to suit age-appropriate pedagogies.
• Measure and monitor progress and determine needed interventions using diagnostic tools.
• Report learning progress to parents within key timelines.
• Support student personal, social and emotional development through pastoral care policies and structures.
• Participate in ongoing professional learning to enhance practice and College capacity.
• Contribute to development of Literacy, Numeracy and Learning Technology across programs.
• Engage with Student Experiences, Outdoor Education and community activities.
