Job summary

Supaglass Industries in Canberra seeks a Residential Window Installer / Service Technician to install and service aluminium windows and doors across residential projects. You will handle replacement work, installations in new builds, and rectification tasks while maintaining safety and quality.

Ideal candidates bring carpentry or window installation experience, strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and excellent communication with homeowners.

Qualifications

• Previous experience installing and/or servicing aluminium windows and doors; or carpentry skills transferable to window/door installation.
• Strong practical and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• The ability to communicate confidently and respectfully with homeowners.
• A professional manner when working in customers' homes.
• A current Australian driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Remove existing windows/doors and prepare openings for replacements.
• Install new aluminium windows and doors in existing homes.
• Install windows/doors in new residential builds.
• Complete finishing and installation work to a high standard.
• Work with an installation team to complete projects safely and efficiently.
• Identify faults, diagnose window/door issues and perform repairs or service.
