Job summary

Miele Australia is seeking a passionate, customer-focused Service Technician to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity in Melbourne. You will travel with a company vehicle, service premium domestic appliances and deliver high-quality repairs in customers’ homes, combining technical expertise with outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Minimum disconnect/reconnect electrical licence.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Current and valid Australian driver’s licence.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and prioritise workloads.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality service repairs and fault diagnosis on Miele domestic appliances in customer homes and occasionally in the workshop
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences through professional communication and service excellence
• Manage allocated jobs efficiently to achieve strong first-time-fix results and minimise downtime
• Complete service documentation, invoices and payment processing accurately and on time
• Maintain van stock, tools and company equipment to ensure operational readiness
• Resolve customer concerns in the field and escalate at technical issues where required
• Stay up to date with technical knowledge, product training and evolving technologies
