The role includes setup and operation of panel saws, routers, CNC routers, and edgebanders, plus on-site installation and final alignment. A Certificate III in Joinery/Carpentry and at least 1 year post-apprenticeship are required.

Qualifikationen

• Formal education: Certificate III in Joinery (CPC31920) or Certificate III in Carpentry and Joinery (or equivalent national qualification).
• Trade experience: Minimum 1 year post-apprenticeship as Joiner/Cabinet Maker in workshop.
• Licensing: Valid driver’s license; White Card/ Construction Induction Card for on-site work.

Aufgaben

• Read and interpret detailed architectural drawings and specifications to determine dimensions and materials.
• Set up, operate and maintain woodworking machinery safely and accurately.
• Fabricate and assemble joinery components including cabinetry, doors, windows, and fittings.
• Finish surfaces and prepare timber for polishing or painting.
• Install joinery on-site and perform adjustments to fit within irregular spaces.
