Job summary

Mercy Place Colac in VIC is seeking a Precinct Manager to lead our 107-bed Residential Aged Care Home and 29 ILUs. Permanent full-time, you will oversee operations, clinical services, staff development, and stakeholder liaison to deliver person-centred care and high accreditation standards.

You will bring strong people leadership, budgeting and rostering skills, knowledge of AN-ACC and aged care standards, plus a compassionate, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading large aged care homes (100+ beds).
• Strong people management and change management skills.
• Knowledge of AN-ACC, accreditation and aged care standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead Residential Aged Care & Seniors Living teams.
• Liaise with stakeholders to deliver best-practice operational and clinical services.
• Oversee budgets, occupancy, compliance and accreditation standards.
• Promote a positive safety and care culture aligned with Model of Care.

About the opportunity:

As the Precinct Manager for Mercy Place Colac, you will be in charge of our 107-bed Residential Aged Care Home & 29 Seniors Living Units (ILUs).

• Permanent Full-Time Position.
• An opportunity to lead the Residential Aged Care & Seniors Living Teams.
• Be an active leader of a team where communication is valued and continuous improvement is promoted in accordance with accreditation and aged care standards.
• Lead a culture that promotes positivity and safety while delivering our Model of Care that focuses on the individual emotional and physical needs of the resident.
• You will liaise with all stakeholders to deliver best practice operational and clinical services, including allied health, hospitality, lifestyle and community activities.
• Business acumen and retirement village knowledge relating to budgets, occupancy, compliance and accreditation standards.

What you’ll bring:

• Prior experience in similar level roles at large 100 + bed aged care homes.
• Strong people management skills including staff leadership and development, succession planning and experience in change management.
• Business acumen (i.e. budgets, efficient rostering, occupancy) and sound knowledge of AN-ACC, accreditation and aged care standards.
• Business acumen and retirement village knowledge relating to budgets, occupancy, compliance and accreditation standards.
• Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care and ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
• A compassionate, flexible and positive approach.
• The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

• National Police Check
• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse is highly desirable
