Job summary

Healthcare Professionals Group is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison to join the Medical Affairs team ahead of an exciting future product launch. This national role focuses on building trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, developing an external stakeholder network and gathering meaningful medical insights to support launch readiness and strategy.

Qualifications

• Approximately 1–2 years of MSL or field-based Medical Affairs experience.
• Proven ability to engage HCPs and build credible relationships.
• Strong scientific communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate complex clinical information for diverse audiences.
• Understanding of the Australian pharmaceutical and healthcare environment.
• Travel nationally and spend significant time face-to-face with stakeholders.
• Previous launch or pre-launch experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted peer-to-peer relationships with healthcare professionals, KOLs and researchers.
• Deliver high-quality scientific exchange across disease state, clinical evidence and emerging research.
• Develop and execute stakeholder engagement plans nationally.
• Gather and communicate meaningful medical insights to support medical strategy and launch readiness.
• Support pre-launch and launch planning activities.
• Contribute to advisory boards, expert meetings, medical education programs and congress activities.
• Create and deliver scientific presentations to internal and external audiences.
• Provide scientific input across Medical Affairs and broader cross-functional teams.
• Support publication planning, evidence generation and scientific communication initiatives.
• Provide scientific and therapeutic area training to internal stakeholders.
