Woollahra Council seeks an Operational Worker to join the Street Cleaning team on a permanent full-time basis. The role covers street cleaning, cleanup collection and weeding across the council area, based at the Alexandria Integrated Facility with an early start at 5:00am.

You will need a valid HR Driver’s Licence (or ability to obtain within 3 months), a White Card, physical fitness for heavy lifting, and a collaborative approach suitable for a small team. Onsite parking is provided.

Qualifications

• Current HR Driver’s Licence or willing to obtain within 3 months.
• Construction Induction White Card.
• Proven ability to perform labouring duties including heavy lifting.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and in a small team.
• Commitment to WHS policies and safe work practices.

Responsabilités

• Perform street cleaning duties across the LGA.
• Carry out clean-up collection and weeding services.
• Work early shifts with the team starting at 5:00am.
