Job summary

Anglicare Victoria is seeking a dedicated Practitioner for Family Services to deliver case management, risk assessment, outreach and family support within a child-centred framework. You will partner with families, Child Protection and key stakeholders to improve safety, stability and wellbeing outcomes.

We value resilience and commitment to best practice, with mandatory Working with Children Check and readiness to undergo a National Criminal History Check.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Early Childhood or a related discipline.
• Experience working with vulnerable children, young people and families.
• Full Victorian Driver Licence.

Practitioner - Family Services - Strengthening

Join our Family Services team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, young people and families.

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Practitioner to provide case management, risk assessment, outreach and family support services to vulnerable families. Working within a child-focused, family-centred framework, you will partner with families, Child Protection and key stakeholders to improve safety, stability and wellbeing outcomes.

About You

• Relevant qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Early Childhood or a related discipline.


• Experience working with vulnerable children, young people and families.


• Strong understanding of child development, trauma, Child Protection and family violence frameworks, including MARAM.


• Demonstrated skills in assessment, case management, intervention planning and stakeholder collaboration.


• Excellent communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.


• Full Victorian Driver Licence.
