About the role

As Practice Operations Manager for our Sydney General Liability group, you’ll be at the heart of operational excellence, guiding, empowering and elevating a high-performing Practice Support Team. You’ll foster a collaborative culture, drive continuous improvement, and ensure our lawyers consistently deliver outstanding client service. Your leadership will shape the way our practice group operates, setting the standard for quality, efficiency and innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Inspire and oversee the Practice Support Team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Onboard, train and develop team members, ensuring seamless integration and growth.
  • Monitor team capacity, reallocate resources, and recognise outstanding contributions.
  • Support the efficient running of group operations, contributing to Board of Advisors meetings and managing sensitive correspondence.
  • Oversee matter management, billing, and financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Champion client operations, onboarding, and reporting, working closely with internal teams to deliver value.
  • Lead change initiatives, embrace innovation, and support technology transformation.
  • Promote inclusive practices and uphold WK’s values in every interaction.
