A healthcare practice in Town Of Cambridge is seeking an enthusiastic Practice Nurse to cover 10 months of maternity leave. The role involves various aspects of Practice Nursing, including cervical screening, wound care, and immunisations. The ideal candidate should have an RGN degree and experience in a GP surgery. Friendly two site surgery seekingenthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our well established Nursing team to cover 10 months of maternity leave.
We are looking for anexperienced and empathetic Practice Nurse who has preferably worked in a GP surgerybefore and to help ensure we maintain our exemplary performance.
Our main surgery is located in theheart of the city centre alongside Corpus Christi College. Our branch surgery is in anew purpose built healthcare centre located in the nearby village ofTrumpington.
Parking is available at both sites.
The main duties of include various aspects of Practice Nursing including cervical screening, wound care and immunisations (as described in job description below).
Different pay rates are available dependant on skills and experience.
We have over 21,500 patients registered over 2 sites and a team of over 50 staff including pharmacists, physiotherapists and social prescribers.
We hold regularNurse and Practice team meetings.
As a Practice we constantly strive for a good worklife balance.
We are currently looking for 4 days but for theright candidate we may be happy to negotiate
The role will include all aspects of Practice Nursing including complex dressing management, routine immunisations (adult, child and seasonal flu) working under current PGDs, travel assessment and vaccinations, cervical screening and routine injections and medication administration.
