Job summary

Key Health is seeking a motivated Practice Nurse to join our team across our Key Health clinics, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a supportive general practice environment.

You will work closely with doctors and the broader team to ensure safe, efficient care, maintain accurate records, and contribute to quality improvement and accreditation efforts. An emphasis on infection control and patient education is key.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration (Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse).
• Current CPR certification.
• Current professional indemnity insurance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing clinical care in line with professional and safety standards.
• Conducting immunisations, wound care, health assessments, and triage.
• Supporting chronic disease management and preventative health initiatives.
• Assisting doctors with procedures and clinical tasks.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Ensuring infection control procedures and policies are followed.
• Managing clinical equipment, supplies, and treatment rooms.
• Supporting quality improvement activities and practice accreditation.
• Educating patients on health management, treatments, and preventative care.
• Supporting and guiding other staff as required.
