Job summary

ForHealth is seeking a Casual Registered Nurse to join our Merrylands team, delivering high-quality, patient-focused care in a collaborative environment.

You'll work with experienced nurses and GPs, supporting a wide range of clinical tasks and contributing to a values-led culture that prioritises patient wellbeing and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse.
• Previous experience in General Practice or an acute care setting.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A warm, patient-focused attitude and a team-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Administering immunisations and post-vaccine observations.
• Triage and prioritisation of emergency situations.
• Support GPs with minor surgical procedures.
• Wound care including dressings and suture removal.
• Providing patient education and coaching to support health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be involved in a wide variety of clinical tasks including, but not limited to:

• Administering immunisations and managing post-vaccine observations
• Triage and prioritisation of emergency situations

• Wound care, including dressings and suture removal
• Providing patient education and coaching to support health outcomes
• Contributing to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented practice culture

About You
