Job summary

Camp Australia is seeking a Permanent Educator to join our Parkhurst team in Queensland. You will help design safe, engaging activities for primary-aged children and support before and after school programs, including holiday activities.

As part of our values-driven culture, you will build strong connections with children, families, and the local school community, while upholding child safety and wellbeing as a top priority.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• Willing to study a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Working with Children Check Blue Card or willingness to obtain.
• National Child Safety Training or willingness to obtain.
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Design a safe, engaging, and compliant program for primary-aged children.
• Lead exciting daily activities and before/after school programs.
• Prepare and serve healthy snacks to keep everyone energized.
• Collaborate with families and local schools to support children’s learning and wellbeing.

Camp Australia is on the hunt for a passionate, Permanent Educator to join our team in Parkhurst! If you're excited about building meaningful connections with children, their families, and the local school community, we want YOU!

As an educator with us, you will get the job security of a permanent contract and you’ll be at the heart of all the fun and excitement—whether it’s before school, after school, or during school holidays. In this role, you’ll help design a safe, engaging, and compliant program, leading exciting daily activities to help primary-aged children. ABOUT YOU

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• You have completed, are studying, or are willing to study a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Working with Children Check Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Availability between 7:00 am-9:00 am & 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
